My perspective isn't just academic — it's deeply personal. I'm the father of an autistic child, and that experience has taught me firsthand how overwhelming and confusing parenting can feel when traditional approaches simply don't work.
That journey pushed me to dive deeper into regulation, sensory needs, and relational approaches that support the whole child. What I discovered changed the way I see children's behavior entirely — and it's what drives everything I do today.
Through that learning, I found Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI®), a brain-based framework that finally made sense of what I was seeing at home and in my work. Now I spend my days helping other adults access that same clarity.
The Turning Point
When traditional parenting strategies failed, I didn't give up — I got curious. That curiosity became a calling to help other caregivers find their footing when nothing seems to be working.

Now translates that learning for others
Grounded in TBRI®
Trust-Based Relational Intervention is a brain-based approach developed at TCU that focuses on three core principles — and it changes everything about how adults respond to children.
🧠 Regulation
Supporting the nervous system so children can access learning, connection, and self-control — rather than reacting from a place of survival mode.
🤝 Connection
Building the relational foundation children need to trust adults, feel safe, and ultimately accept guidance and correction.
🏠 Felt Safety
Creating environments — physical, relational, and emotional — where children's nervous systems can settle and thrive.
